Summary
So some months ago, a wonderful artist randomly appeared on my blog. Caitlyn and Vi reimagined as cats with wonderful colors and sweet little plotlines and just good feels. Back in August, I had to let my senior kitty go and I was so heartbroken, still am. These heartwarming drawings and their lovely artist came along at a time when I really needed them.
Thank you so much Hamusammichart, for your time and effort and how your creations make me feel.

Caitlyn looked at her boarding pass for her connecting flight and sighed, sounding tired. “The flight home is always my least favorite part of any trip.”
Vi couldn’t relate - she got homesick real bad, and while she’d loved being at the Games, even the air felt better now that she was back in Zaun.
“Do you…do you maybe…” Vi shook her head. “Nah, it’s stupid.”
Because it was. It was so stupid.
Caitlyn’s face shifted from unreadable to curious. “What is it?”
Nerves fizzing around in her chest, Vi took a deep breath.
Fuck it.
“If you don’t have anything important waiting…do you maybe wanna stay?”

'Twas two weeks before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Okay, three cats were stirring, but no mice, because Vi was an amazing hunter and of course they fled as soon as she moved in.
It's the Tree Season. The strange time of year when humans act even more ridiculously. When they bring trees inside for a few weeks, when there's twinkly lights everywhere and big shiny boxes that are filled with potential and would make amazing places to hide. For the first time she can remember, Caitlyn's not spending this Tree Season alone. This time she has her beloved Vi and adorable Powder. One things for sure, this will be a Tree Season Caitlyn will remember for the rest of her life.

We're coming back to 'Arcane but what if (almost) everyone was cats'. Expect fluffiness, sweetness, a bit of light angst and lots of cats being cats...and also characters we love.

Summary
Once upon a time, like a punchline to a joke, a half-demon and a hunter knelt before a grave and talked.
The half-demon reiterated what she knows (what she has just learned) to the hunter. She states that hunters kill all demons. When the hunter confirms it, she verifies “Anything with patterns?”
She is looking at her own.
And this is the key moment, the fulcrum on which a wish swings: Celine does not say, “No”. She does not say that the hunters will spare the half-demon, even if she has patterns, because she is Rumi and she is a person. Celine says, “Cover those up,” and says “You are not like them Rumi.” She says, “Your patterns will go away when you turn the Honmoon gold.” She tells Rumi that she only has patterns because her dad was a demon. Neither of them says that Rumi is not a demon.
Celine says, ‘You can be fixed’ and Rumi hears ‘You can be spared, if you are fixed.’
What Celine tells her is she is different from them, but not different enough.

The finality in her tone steals the air from Caitlyn’s lungs. She can feel Vi stiffen next to her, her breathing an increment heavier. Caitlyn dares a side-long glance, anger dancing on the tip of her tongue, and is stunned to see Vi already staring at her, open and almost wild."
