Summary
Tim is eleven the first time he thinks it. His cheeks are an uncomfortable pink and his eyes still raw from sobbing.
Just... How much? How many pairs of expensive shoes make up for getting hit by your dad?
Tim Drake loves his father. He does. Which is why it's so hard to tell other people why he only sees adults as angry.

Summary
“Epilepsy.” Tim breathed. He was already shaking his head. “But I feel fine.”
“You’re fine now,” Bruce said, his hand on Tim’s knee. “Because of the medications that you have been put on. They are helping to regulate your body, keeping inappropriate electrical impulses at a minimum.”
“Inappropriate electrical impulses.” Tim said. “Really Bruce, I’m not a child.”
“A normal child wouldn’t have understood what I just said.” Bruce countered.
Tim blinked. Then, again.
“I would have.” Tim finally said.
__________________Timothy Jackson Drake is many things.
He's brilliant, he's brave, he's Red Robin. Some might say he's a little shit, but that was neither here nor there. Well, actually, yeah, he's a little shit but whatever.
What Tim can't be is broken.
He can't possibly bring shame to the Drake name and the Wayne family. He can't possibly have epilepsy, because he is meant to be better than that, he needs to be better than that.

Summary
“Report.” Bruce’s voice came all of a sudden.
Bruce sounded worried for some reason, by the couch within two strides though it couldn’t possibly have been two strides, the distance between the couch and the doorway was actually-
“Joker Toxin or some shit,” Jason said.
“No toxin.” Tim snapped back.
When the urge to laugh overcame him, he resisted it, instead going to stand and prove to Bruce that literally nothing was happening except he couldn’t stand, too busy cackling after all.
The blur that was Bruce Wayne crowded his view, Jason having at some point moved away.
No, Jason hadn’t moved away, he’d sat down on the couch beside Tim, tugging Tim up against him and rubbing his back when a particularly strong laugh overcame him.
There was glitter on the couch now and the idea of Alfred absolutely getting his revenge for it made Tim laugh again.
And again.
And again.

Summary
“Jason.” Bruce warned. “Stay out of it.”
“What? All I’m saying is that all your parenting classes are paying off, you don’t even need to threaten to bench him and he already hates you.”
“Jason.”
“Relax,” Jason said. “He doesn’t hate you. It’s just weird, you know.”
Bruce stared at him.
Jason rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath. He readjusted Tim a little, gently brushing away some dark hair from Tim’s face.
“There wasn’t exactly a shit tonne of baby assassins back in the League. In fact, there was only Damian. He’s not used to this kind of thing.”
“That’s no excuse for not sleeping through the night.”
“You’re acting like Damian’s the one who’s been magically puffed into a little kid. Well, littler than he is already. This is weird as hell, Bruce, all he knows about child rearing is how he himself was raised.”
