Summary
Post-MWIII: When Soap is killed by Makarov in the tunnels, the 141 are overrun and forced to leave his body behind with the enemy.
They never anticipate the mad, masked monster wearing Soap's face to come crawling back out, shaped and reborn by Makarov into weapon tailor made to destroy them all.

Summary
There’s a teddy in Soap’s bed; a beaten-up, old brown bear. Well-loved, if the state of the fur is any indication. Ghost lets out a choked laugh, mostly at his own expense. He wishes he was there, suddenly, wishes he was by Johnny’s side as he walked through the doorway and realised that his childhood room was waiting for him like a time capsule. Wishes he got to see the embarrassed scrunch of his face, the way the tips of his ears would flush red.
Soap has a whole second life, outside of the SAS. He’s got a mother, and a poorly-decorated bedroom, and a bear. All Ghost has is a flat that will be the same it is today as it will be the day he dies, like he was never even here at all.

Summary
A tactical mohawk, a worn-in tac vest, and a grin wider than most machetes in South London. Meet Soap.
When Johnny “Soap” MacTavish is slapped with disciplinary leave, he figures his days of door-kicking and demolitions are behind him. Already told his da to change the business name to ‘and Sons.’ Then a letter arrives. Heavy stock. 11pt New Times Roman. The sender? Captain John Price. Join Taskforce 141. MacTavish accepted. Soap was back.
Just one snag. His new CO? Lt. Riley. AKA the legendary Ghost of Hereford. All he’s heard is: “oh fuck, I’m on op with Ghost” followed by a soldier’s world-weary sigh. That, and a rum-soaked bar fight nobody’s supposed to mention. Not exactly LinkedIn material. No intel. No plan. And certainly no time to make one.
When American missiles go missing—somehow—Task Force 141 is deployed to drag the world back from the brink of war. That’s important, sure. Critical. Maybe even medal-worthy. Soap’s got a second op. Armed with nothing but hope, a well-practised smile, and an AK-105, he’s going to do what no soldier has done before. Make Ghost like him.
Welcome to MacTavish’s guide to surviving your new CO.
