In a pool of swirling starlight of colors, it's where he saw a tear in the fabric between worlds endless of timelines and of possibilities.
It's where he saw him again.
He was thin, so thin to where bone crudely pokes through pale skin kissed by the moon itself, half glowing with the little sunlight it was given in an elegant room filled with people who were far less important than him, a room that will be torn apart only moments away, swallowing him up into death's unforgiving teeth, tearing him away from his grasp.
It was in that quick moment Jayce Tails made a choice, while he made a promise to the mage of the wasteland of the inevitable, Jayce however was only just a simple man, egotistical, he, his partner use to call him teasingly…and by god was he right.
