Summary
Technology kept advancing, giving people faster and easier ways to do things that once relied on magic. As it became less necessary, magic gradually weakened—some believe it died out because people stopped believing, others say the world simply ran out of mana. By the time modern tech dominated, magic was little more than a forgotten relic carried by a rare few.
That changed when it was revealed that Jayce had been conducting illegal experiments, attempting to use science to capture whatever traces of magic might still remain.

On the outside, Caitlyn has dropped out of law school to try and find herself, and ends up also signing up for the program on a whim. Caitlyn starts her first year of college at age 23. After being caught in the blast of an explosion at age 16, she wakes up, now 19 and needing to play catch up. She pushes herself to her limits, forcing herself through physical therapy and spending all her spare time studying. Eventually, she got into one of the top colleges in Piltover. It should’ve felt good… but she knew pity, money, and political sway helped her get in.
Now, she’s moving into a dorm room, much to her mother’s dismay, but Caitlyn wants… something normal. Jinx, her roommate, is far from normal and is keeping an awful secret. -

Jinx and Vi are working at Camp Herald for the summer. Jinx spent most of the summer with her head down working behind the scenes, trying to dissociate as much as possible. During the last week of the camp, Jinx is assigned as an extra helper for a cabin with a 'troubled kid' who seems to never talk and really only keeps to herself. As she and this kid grow close, she realizes that the summer moves much faster, and that she can't stop it when it's over.

Summary
Vi and her siblings break into Jayce’s dorm looking for a quick score, but things go terribly wrong. An explosion caused by Powder tears through the dorm and half the block around it.
Vi stays behind to make sure her siblings can escape, but through the chaos she was caught by the Enforcers.
Charged as the sole culprit—all that awaited her was a cold sell in Stillwater. But just when it seems her fate is sealed, Jayce—the man she’d tried to rob—steps forward. Against all reason, he takes responsibility, claiming the explosion was the result of his own experiments.
Vi is freed.
For saving her daughter, Silco feels he is indebted to Jayce Talis, he orders Viktor to look into Jayce’s work, to find a way to ease his punishment.
What Silco did not expect was that Viktor, doesn’t just investigate him—he joins him. The two begin building something new, something that will change both Piltover and Zaun forever: Hextech.

It finds him through your voice coming from the other side of the door, telling someone to fuck off, loud over running water. He has stopped throwing up yet the ache remains, his stomach burns with the aftermath of acid. The floor smells of poorly mopped piss. Viktor chuckles at the absurdity of it all and then jolts when you try to open the door and it rattles against his back. He drags his ass closer to the toilet and looks up at you with wide eyes, like a child seeking comfort after a fever dream.'
Viktor falls headfirst in love and takes a step back when it scares him. You let him.
