Summary
Batman caught twelve-year-old Jason and nine-year-old Harry trying to steal his tires. Instead of turning them in, he brought them home. Now with their official adoption pending, Harry and Jason settle in to life at Wayne Manor, with Harry's best friend and pseudo-twin Tim as their neighbor now instead of that weird kid with a camera on a rooftop. Is this dream too good to be true? Or has Harry, after so many years as an unwanted stray, finally found a real home?

A business trip takes the Dursleys across the Atlantic to a grimy city in New Jersey. They couldn't find a sitter, so they had to bring "the freak" with them. And then they conveniently forgot him there, on the meanest streets of Gotham. “Hence why those guys want you to build a Stark missile.”
“Right.”
The kid snorts, “what, do you work in R&D at your own company?” When Tony just gives him a blank look he clears his throat, “nevermind. So if you can build a missile I bet you can figure out a way to get us out of here.”
Tony sighs, turning his face away. He’s so tired. “I can’t build them that weapon, kid.”
Now it’s the kid’s turn to look confused. “Then build something else,” he says simply.

This is a kid. He works fast and knows what he’s doing, but a kid is about to start working on getting a third tire off the Batmobile. What are the odds that he was going to not only get to see Bruce have an internal meltdown upon realizing his tires are no longer attached to his vehicle, but also that a kid who must have ties to the chop shop he’s looking for would just appear in front of him tonight.
