If Katsuki died from this, he was going to find a way to haunt their shitty spaceship and poltergeist the fuck out of anything that looked even marginally important. Because fuck if aliens were real then whose to say that ghosts aren’t? And probably bigfoot. And the fucking tooth fairy. All those conspiracy theorists wearing tinfoil hats and raving about anal probes had gotten at least one thing right.
Katsuki had yet to be probed. He might die before that happens; in which case he wouldn’t be there to care that aliens were shoving sticks up his ass.Oh. He was delirious. He was turning into Deku in his final moments, mumbling on about pointless shit.
"God, kill me now."
Or: Katsuki is abducted by aliens. It goes about as well as you could expect

Summary
Izuku had heard of the uncanny valley.
Two words, meant to summarize a vast feeling of insurmountable description.
The uncanny valley, at its core, was an instinctual feeling of wrongness humans experienced when seeing something non-human with human characteristics. Birds with mocking capabilities or emotionally intelligent AI could trigger it, or even other humans that were sick or dying.
Izuku thinks there’s something more. When he looks in the mirror, he can see that the body in his reflection is identical to his own.
When his reflection touches his face, he feels the caress on his own skin. When Izuku moves his arm, the reflection copies him.The reflection is real, yet it is not. It couldn't exist unless Izuku himself was there to give it life, to give it something to copy.
If Izuku shattered that mirror, his reflection would cease to exist, erased.
But it wouldn’t erase the feeling that Izuku got when he looked into the eyes of his own reflection.The uncanny valley was an instinctive response when seeing something non-human that was trying very desperately to pretend that it was.
When Izuku looked in the mirror, all he saw was a ghoul.

Summary
Anger, he finds, is a subtle, quiet language. It takes its time to say what it wants. Meanders from point to point, gaining traction and momentum as it finds footholds for expression. It’s only when it’s really chugging along and getting up to speed that you realize what it’s trying to say, and by then it’s ready to bowl you over like a freight train. Anger is loud and explosive, passionate and fierce and defensive, and Izuku loves it. Loves its simplicity and the honestly with which it is spoken.
Happiness, by comparison, is terrifying. It’s outwardly brash and boisterous, in your face and ready to share all that it is with whoever is willing to accept it and it is overwhelming.
After Izuku meets Yagi Toishinori, he feels like he’s drowning.

There is a wave of heat from somewhere to his right and up ahead, yards away but unnaturally strong, and the wind carries with it screams and the smell of burning flesh.
A shot echoes through the stillness of the high noon, and he counts to five in his head. Another shot.
