Based on that wonderful children’s television programme “Children of the Stones” by Jeremy Burnham and Trevor Ray.
“The standing stones encircled the village of Milbury. Something strange was happening to the people in the village – something connected to the mysterious power sources from the past.”
This story is set approximately six years after the happenings in “Children of the Stones”.

Summary
Merlin and Arthur met as conservatory students -- Merlin studying cello, and Arthur drama. They went from snarky roommates to inseparable friends, despite their differences, and Merlin started to wonder why being with Arthur made him feel so different than with all his other friends. Unfortunately, when Arthur left for Hollywood, and Merlin's own career took off, they slowly lost touch. “Your Majesty,” Gwen says sweetly, “please do not slouch.”
“I highly doubt he’ll be looking at me,” Arthur drawls, “when he’s come all this way to marry you.”

Summary
Merlin doesn't hate omegas, he just hates himself. As a doctor, he advocates for equality and self-expression in the omega community, but limits his heats to single beds and thin blankets.
