Summary
Grace crossed the house, grabbing his laptop and flopping down across his couch. His laptop rested on the swell of his abdomen as he opened his browser and pulled up a database of symptoms and their potential causes.
Nausea. Weight gain. Increased appetite. Fatigue. Frequent urination.
He cross-referenced with an open notebook, writing down possible diagnoses. Stomach viruses, food poisoning, metabolic changes, depression, various kinds of cancers.
Pregnancy popped up a lot, too. Over and over, for every symptom. None of the other diagnoses appeared for every one of his symptoms.
“Wouldn’t that be a riot?” Grace muttered to himself. “Human parthenogenesis in the only human on an alien planet."

Eridian doctors transferred a human embryo into Grace. They didn't bother asking his permission.

I stayed up till 4am reading this! Thenomal fic and the most emotionally charged price of coherent and thought provoking media I've read in a while.
The feeling of betrayal at ones body and the situation while being helpless to stop it is a personal favourite horror genre of mine and this fic did it to the max in every way possible without making it overused or stale. There were enough moments of comfort to make it impactful when something horrific happens is what I mean.

Summary
Simon had never made many plans for his life, though he was fairly sure that having a behemoth of a teal dorito be his therapist was not one of them. It had all started with an accident. Well, two accidents to be specific.

Simon accidentally gets pregnant and then accidentally lets it slip to Adrian, so now they're making him do the thing anyone in a healthy, loving, committed relationship would do: tell his husband. but of course, ryland and rocky can’t go one day without making an accident themselves.

"What happening *question!?"* Rocky stamped a foot down twice in Simon's direction. "Grace dying?!"
"I feel like it!" Grace sobbed loudly. He cried hoarse cries before catching his breath. Rocky tensed at those words.
"Grace die!?"
"No!" Simon told Rocky. "He's in labor! He's giving *birth!* But it can be deadly if we don't do this right! Rocky, stay there. Angel, look at me!" Simon yelled again and had Grace looking at him. "Your water isn't broken, I think...I think I have to break it for the baby to come out."

Grace had no idea he was pregnant.
And this sets off a chain reaction the likes of Erid had never seen before.

“You have to promise you’ll come back,” Grace demands, his own lower lip trembling. "Pinky promise!" He jabs his pinky into Simon’s cheek and pokes him with it until Simon looks up.
Simon’s eyes are red-rimmed, but Grace’s glad that he’s managed to surprise just the tiniest smile from him. “I’m not pinky promising, that shit’s for babies,” he says, eyeing Grace’s extended pinky with mock disdain.
“Then how am I supposed to know you’ll keep your promise?” Grace shoots back.
“We gotta seal the deal with something else,” Simon says seriously.
