He cared about one person only (spoiler alert, it wasn't himself) and in another life, he'd be a part of Sergio's stupid gang right now and not crawling around in the basement as a dirty, alcoholic hostage with suicidal tendencies."
After choosing not to take his own life, Martín ends up as a hostage in the Mint heist, hoping for a chance to mend things with Andrés. Sergio is pissed, Andrés an asshole, Martín a walking disaster. Chaos ensues.

After Mary dies and Chuck reveals his true colors everything falls apart. Dean, Sam and Cas are more apart than ever but have to stick together to get through the aftermath - grief, anger, depression, fading powers and a goddamn apocalypse - together. Working through all of their their issues proves to be complicated though, especially when there are Dean's feelings for Cas in the mix.

For him, it's embarrassing that he still regularly thinks about this strange dream from over a year ago. He still doesn't manage to fully understand how his brain fabricated this (for John Winchester's standards, at least) almost utopian fantasy in his head while considering himself a realist - and his reality is grey, dark, dull, full of supernatural creatures and families torn apart. Using this dream, where his wife is alive, his sons are happy and his father supposedly never left him of his own will but was swept away by a demon and an unfortunate accident, as a safe space, a happy fantasy for when the days are their greyest and darkest - he struggles to justify this even in front of himself. - (Coda to 14x13 "Lebanon")

A new, very busy corporate job is the perfect excuse for Bilbo to avoid his irritating family members in the gap between Christmas and New Year, plus the office is practically empty, aside from the boss, Thorin Durinson, who is thoroughly snowed in by the amount of paperwork he has to get done by January. Bilbo hasn't ever spoken to the man in any extended amount, so surely it will be a quiet week of existing alongside each other...
