Summary
If the Ministry's response to the world's most infamous Dark Wizard being raised from the dead is complete denial, it should be no surprise that they don't even notice when the second most infamous Dark Wizard breaks out of prison.
When Gellert Grindelwald escapes prison after getting a vision of Dumbledore's death, he learns that Hogwarts is looking for yet another Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. It seems like the perfect excuse to get close to the Headmaster so that he can protect Albus. But with Albus more suspicious than ever and the Ministry determined to get its talons into Hogwarts, how long can he hide his identity?
Meanwhile, Albus is just thankful to have found a professor so that he doesn't have to hire some Ministry puppet for the job. Harry just wants someone to assure him that his dreams don't mean he's losing his mind.

Er…. So Harry’s Dad wants to keep him home from Hogwarts, even though he really wants to go. Harry does some mad things – like sings songs no one has ever heard of, cries or laughs for no reason, calls himself ‘we’, and – maybe- swears and talks about Voldemort too much. That all seems perfectly normal to me, considering what we’ve been through, but not everyone gets it. If he doesn’t figure out a way to act sane, his dad will pull him out of school and he’ll have to sit around with me all day. He’ll never get to meet Ron or Hermione, or Malfoy, or – Merlin – anything else a normal pre-teen should get to do. It’s awful, really… I hope he can make it work.
