A group of hunters has been sent by the king out to a newly claimed forest territory. Their job? Clear it of any pests that may hinder the expansion of the kingdom or may just be a general nuisance like wolves, fox, boar, and the most dangerous of all, harpies.
Now, Scar's never seen a living harpy, but he's not stupid. Everyone and their mothers know they're blood-thirsty killers, mindless animals at best, demons sent from hell itself at worst. Everyone also knows that a harpy could kill you in three seconds flat. But if that's the case, why is he still alive?

Summary
Grian's dealt with people treating him differently his whole life. He knows it's because he's an avian. For a long while he'd managed to forget that a large majority of people were under the impression that avians were weaker than other players, and he'd certainly never had to deal with those kinds of misconceptions on Hermitcraft, not until now.

Summary
Grian had been a beta since his early adolescence. He never had an obvious presentation like alphas and omegas did, but that was fairly normal for betas. Sure, he never experienced the kind of protective and meditative instincts like other betas, but he certainly smelled like one. That is, until one day when he wakes up feeling all kinds of wrong, and suddenly, he's dealing with one of the most embarrassing things that no beta would ever have to deal with.
