Roman smacks his lips and allows his head to rest against the cool tile behind him. “And in terms of, you know, this,” he says, gesturing between himself and the politician, “here. There’s something here, right?”
And he really didn’t mean for it to come out sounding sexual, but as much as he criticizes Shiv for her “fuck me” eyes, Roman is still hyper-aware of the way his eyelids droop a bit as he says it.
