Arata looks up from it to give her a concerned look. "But...you knew that, right? Taichi has been in love with you for years. Or he was. I guess we don't know how he feels now—" He looks at the photo again, speaks so softly it's as if to himself: "But I have to believe he still is."
"He's not looking at me there, though." Chihaya took that picture and she remembers it very well. "He's looking at you."

It would be nearly impossible to take now, and if he looked up to see the player's gleam in Arata's eyes, it would become completely impossible. Right now, here, on the main stage at Omi Jingu, Taichi could only have eyes for the cards on the board.
