Summary
Slowburn Verso/Gustave set in a Bridgerton-inspired regency era Lumiere, as Benedict Bridgerton/Sophie Baek.
The Dessendres are hosting the first Masquerade ball of the season, and eligible bachelor Verso despises everything and everyone involved with the blasted thing.
Gustave just wants to anonymously enjoy his first and only ball - is that too much to ask? -

Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of three Salutors must be in want of a fourth.
However, such a thing will surely have drastic consequences for Wiktor Szulski's health and general wellbeing. -

Summary
Basically a very descriptive stream-of-concious version of the events at the end of Roti, focused on what Will is seeing/the method behind his madness.
(Mainly written because I was so traumatised after the ep, I had to write my own version of it to calm myself down.)

Summary
Verso didn't expect to meet his soulmate in a bakery. He also didn't expect said soulmate to be the only man in the capital unable to recognize the crown prince by name.
He isn't complaining, this is the first time in years he's been able to exist as himself and not as an extension of his family.
Surely, it won't hurt to keep up the pretense for a little while?
AN: This is the main story, all other fics in the series are bonus content.

Summary
Over ten years after he burned his canvases at the top of the Beaux-Arts de Paris and very publicly went off the rails, Verso Dessendre returns home, a prodigal son trailing rumors of a deeply private family grief. In those same years, Gustave LeClair has built an academic career restoring the aging bridges over the Seine, helping them bear the weight of both history and the humdrum day-to-day. If only he could do the same for his personal life.
They meet. The confusion is mutual.Bookmarked by Spartapuss

Summary
“You’re not what I expected, Gustave,” She eventually settles on, somehow saying his name exactly as Verso had before leaving.
“I guess we’ll see if that ends up being to my detriment or not,” He replies and she finally relinquishes her hold on Gustave’s chair, who immediately pulls back from the table and stands.
“You will grow to resent meeting him,” She says finally as he turns around.
“You’re probably right,” He replies without looking at her.
——-
Gustave’s life before meeting Verso had been normal, routine, scheduled. Suddenly after one night everything in his life has become … complicated.
The more he learns about the ways the Dessendre’s operate, the deeper into their web he entangles himself in, the harder it seems to draw himself out.

Summary
Gustave dies.
It is a sordid affair, full of sacrifice and pain. There is nothing beautiful about death, Gustave thinks in the fleeting instant before his nerve endings explode all at once in his chest like fireworks. He doesn’t think anymore after that. Screams echo on the granite of the cliff, drowning the furious crashing of the waves below. He doesn’t hear them. He is dead.
(This is not how it ends.)
After his death, Gustave becomes unstuck in time.
