10/10 SO GOOD. The characterization of Eddie is fantastic, Steve is a sweet little precious baby and I love this dynamic. Just an all around sweet wholesome fic, with just the right amount of angst and PERFECT resolution. Wish there was a sequel.

Summary
Regulus' summers usually consist of swanning about Montreal, finding new nooks and crannies to read and disappear into and trying his very best to ignore his family. However, this summer will be different. His parents are spending it in France and therefore offer an ultimatum: France with them, or Ontario with Sirius. France is out of the question. Thus leaves a glass front lakehouse in Ontario. A house owned by James Potter's family, Sirius' college best friend, and as far as Regulus is concerned, a total prick. So, dragged out to the middle of nowhere, Regulus begins to endure his eight weeks of hell, surrounded by nature where he is encouraged to take part in any and all activities. As the summer ages, Regulus and James are drawn closer, magnetically, until they cannot bear to ignore one another a moment longer. A whirlwind of secret kisses and hookups follow throughout that summer, and the next and the next. After three years of this messy situationship, the prospect of such an arrangement being temporary becomes agony, feelings must be confessed, and brothers must be informed.
