Lister stops dead in his tracks, just inside the doorway to their sleeping quarters, a grin spreading across his face. He leans back against the door, arms crossed over his chest, and watches his bunkmate in silence for a moment, trying to process exactly what he’s seeing.
“Oi,” he calls out, nodding towards Rimmer with a smirk, “training for the Bolshoi, are we?”

Summary
After three million years, the hologram personality disks are reaching the end of their life and need to be copied onto new media. Unfortunately Holly's verification circuits got frazzled so that task falls to the crew, and Rimmer is faced with the very real possibility that Lister might discover his darkest secret.
The stories in this series are sequential, but can be read as stand-alone or can be skipped as you wish and should still make sense.
