Summary
Lister stops dead in his tracks, just inside the doorway to their sleeping quarters, a grin spreading across his face. He leans back against the door, arms crossed over his chest, and watches his bunkmate in silence for a moment, trying to process exactly what he’s seeing.
“Oi,” he calls out, nodding towards Rimmer with a smirk, “training for the Bolshoi, are we?”

Rimmer wants to learn to fight. Lister offers to teach him.

“Lister,” Rimmer finally manages to squeak out, “What is that?”
“Well, it’s been a while, but I think the catalog called it ‘The Boss–’”
“I– That’s not–” Rimmer sputtered, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I mean, what is that?”
“C’mon, Rimmer,” Lister scoffs, “It’s pretty smegging obviously a dil–”
“Lister!” Rimmer shrieks, pressing his hands to his eyes, “I mean, why do you have it!?”
“Smeg, Rimmer,” Lister snickers, “why’d’ya think??”

Summary
Admittedly they'd both been a bit in their cups by then, but Lister sort of thinks he gets it. Some of his favourite parts of sex had little to do with the actual act itself and more to do with the desperation of being close to someone, of breathing the same air and sharing the same body for a bit. Don't get him wrong, sex was great, but it was the little things that really made it; a hand holding you closer, losing all sense of time outside the other person, the cuddling after where you laze about in bed naked with each other, vulnerable but safe. All things Rimmer's never experienced—and stuff Lister's probably not up to giving him, truthfully.
Not all of it, anyway…but maybe some of it.
"Okay, don't bite me head off," Lister starts cautiously, wiping his hands on his green cargo shorts, "But I'm gonna put something on the table…metaphorically, that is."
Rimmer, predictably, says nothing.
Lister licks his lips and thinks he should just come out with it, cause worst comes to worst at least it'll definitely make Rimmer start talking to him again.
"I think you should put me prick in your mouth."

Summary
It was just like Rimmer to stride into their room and make an outlandish, nigh comedic, demand of Lister without a shred of warning. However, they generally had something to do with revision timetables or deep cleaning their shared toilet. This one, though—this took the cake. It took the cake, ran high up into the mountains where no one could possibly catch it, and asked the cake to have sex with it. Apparently.

A PWP that developed a *teensy* bit of plot, and somehow ballooned into my largest Red Dwarf fic to date. Oops!
