Summary
As if someone had been expecting him, the door flings open, causing him to fall completely to the ground at the feet of the house owner. He begs, gasping in pain and reaching out desperately for help as he feels his life slipping away rapidly. Crocodile’s vision blurs, lights smearing and objects falling out of focus. He limply pushes himself forward a pathetic inch, swaying before collapsing into the blonde man’s arms.
Crocodile would be wishing he had died on that doorstep by the time Doflamingo got what he wanted. It was perfect timing; he needed a new pet.
Or,
Crocodile begs the wrong person for help, now he's quickly becoming entangled in Doflamingo's threads of manipulation.

Kunikida glances to where his hand hovers over an empty space. Empty? No that’s not right. He laughs to himself. He must be going crazy from exhaustion. Rubbing his eyes and looking again, the space stays as it is, nothing is there.

His eyes once again flicked over to what the other man he had yet to be introduced to was doing. Was he putting a shot of every syrup into his drink? With coffee? What drink was he even-
“This is where all the cups for to go orders are stored. If you run out just tell the moss-brained idiot to get you more” Came the voice next to him. Right. He needed to concentrate…. Was that guy putting in chocolate milk too?!? What the hell.
“And that’s pretty much all you need to know.” The blonde smiled at Law snapping his attention back to the cook, he gave a nod in thanks.
“Um, who’s that?” Law awkwardly asked, gesturing to the other man with slight disgust.
“Ah of course! Luffy introduce yourself.” He called out getting the man’s attention. He looked up from his drink that until now he had been completely focused on.
“Huh? Oh! Hi I’m Luffy!” He laughed out with an infectious grin finally noticing Law.

Trafalgar Law gets a job at a coffee shop but quickly ends up very distracted by one of the owners, Monkey D. Luffy

He works three under-the-table jobs, patrols at night in a suit held together by desperation, and survives on barely edible food and sheer willpower. His healing factor is failing. His body is crashing. And he’s not sure how much longer he can keep going.
Then he runs into Bucky Barnes. THE Winter Soldier.
Peter slips. Says too much. Moves too fast. And Bucky, who shouldn’t remember him, starts asking questions. Questions that could unravel everything.
Now Peter’s spiraling, terrified that one moment of recognition could collapse the universe all over again. With nowhere left to turn, he makes a choice: break into Avengers Tower, patch up his suit, and maybe, just maybe, survive one more night.

Peter can readily admit that, in life, he’s not really sure what route he wants to take. This means that, for now, he can reasonably say that he’s more or less driving blind.
But that’s completely and utterly besides the point. The more relevant issue is that he’s currently strapped in a car with someone who is literally driving blind.
“Matt… Matt, MATT - TURN LEFT TURN LEFT TURN LEFT TURN LEFT”
or
Peter overhears some gang members plotting to go after Matt because of an upcoming trial, so, obviously, Peter goes to give his fellow vigilante a hand. There's just one teeny weeny, itty bitty, inconspicuous little problem.
Peter was absolutely not prepared to deal with the fact that Matt is certifiably insane.
