Izuku nods, whispering a small, “Sorry.”
Mr. Aizawa glares at him, tugging him along, like he doesn’t believe him. “Stop being sorry and just follow the rules.”
Izuku isn’t going to juvie. They said he’s different – doesn’t matter that he’s killed someone, the police is worried about a quirkless child being around other ‘troubled’ kids.
Now this Mr. Aizawa is stuck with him until his trial, and Izuku’s completely, a hundred percent certain that the man absolutely hates him.

Summary
No matter the details he still didn’t have, none of the negatives had ever painted a pretty picture. Shouta knew that, but he’d kept looking, all because he hated working without all the information. Always the first person to teach his students how idiotic it was to go into a situation even half blind.
A problem he’s then given himself throughout his teaching career is that, once he’s drilled that into these kids heads as much as physically possible, he then has to teach them how long they can actually afford to sit back and gather information before ‘slow and steady’ becomes dangerous, and the pot boils over.
Clearly it's a lesson he needed himself.
