“I swear, I’m not usually this…” he waved his hand vaguely around, trying to find the right word, eventually landing on “...spacey.”
“I’ll take it as a compliment,” the witch said, and before Kieran could even begin to digest what he could mean by that, he held out his hand for Kieran to shake. “Spelldon Cauldronello.”
“Oh, er, right, where are my manners?” Shaking it, Kieran hesitated just a beat too long before saying, “...Valentine. Kieran Valentine.”
Bracing himself, he peaked through his slightly overgrown fringe, waiting for some kind of reaction. A recoil, maybe an accusing finger pointing in his face.
Instead, all he saw was that quirk of a smile, unchanging. “Nice to meet you.”
Kieran blinked. It seems his reputation didn’t proceed him when it came to this particular monster.
‘He doesn’t know who I am,’ is the first thought that lands in Kieran’s mind. It's quickly followed by, ‘He doesn’t know what I’ve done.’
It feels like it's suddenly both harder and easier to breathe.

Toralei shot her an unamused look, the first acknowledgement she’s given Clawdeen. Still, she didn’t look like the cocky nuisance she usually was at school. Somehow, the messy hair, obvious pajamas, and carelessly cleaned makeup all combined to make her look… normal. Like a real person.
Like she’s been a real person this entire time.
This realization did weird things to Clawdeen’s chest.
Toralei wasn’t just “cute,” Clawdeen realized. She was CUTE.

Summary
It was both surprising and unsurprising that Dean was suggesting they share a bed.
The two of them had finally moved beyond their previous “situationship,” as Claire had once described it, finally committing to the romantic partnership Castiel had secretly longed for, for longer than he even understood what he was longing for. Castiel had quickly moved into Dean’s room in the Bunker, with the two of them sharing a bed most nights. Castiel, still (technically) being an angel, didn’t sleep, but found much solace laying in bed with he beloved hunter, listening to his heart and counting his freckles.
The surprising part was that Dean was willing to share a bed while Sam was in the room.

Summary
Jayce is by Viktor’s side in a second, his hands hovering over Viktor’s face. He feels completely lost -- did Viktor get hurt earlier without him noticing? When? How?
Had someone hurt him?
Viktor looks at Jayce, confusion and concern clear on his face. He raises one of his hands, brushing his fingertips above the cupid’s bow of his lip. Pulling his hand away to look at it, Viktor’s eyebrows unfurrow. He doesn’t look surprised by the blood painting them. His cheeks pinken slightly for some reason, but that’s about as far as his reaction seems to go.
“Ah, I see,” he says, and Jayce is momentarily stunned by how NONCHALANT he’s being.
Then, Viktor simply pinches his nostrils shut between his thumb and pointer finger, and tilts his head back.
“I adologize, Chayse,” Viktor says. “Dis, ah, habbens, somedimes.”
“What do you mean ‘this happens sometimes’?” Jayce asked. “What, you just- randomly start bleeding?!”

Powder rolls her eyes with exaggeration before replying, “Not a --” she mimed an explosion, complete with a boom sound effect “-- more of a --” she wiggled her fingers, making a faint hissing sound. This, frankly, did little to comfort Jayce.
Ekko decided to take pity on him at this point by saying, “There wasn’t a fire, or anything like that. Just…” He trailed off, cringing.
Was Jayce actively going gray? He swears he could practically feel his hairs turning gray from stress at this point. “Just what?”
“Just… kinda embarrassing. Maybe a little cute?”

Jayce is summoned to the Piltover Academy, concerned that Something has happened to his husband. Much to his frustration, no one seems willing to tell him what exactly that Something was. To top it off, for some reason, people keep pointing at him and whispering, and they all seem very interested in his phone background

Summary
Jayce drinks in the wrinkles and white hairs, the scarring that peeks out from the border of Viktor’s beard and hairline, and he’s torn between hating how fast the years have gone by, and how overjoyed and grateful he is that they got those years at all.
Viktor shakes his head again, before pushing his chair back suddenly. He grabs his crutch, leaning against the table next to Jayce’s cane, and pulls himself to his feet. He makes his way around the table before stopping in front of Jayce. Jayce gives him a fond look, if mildly surprised, when Viktor braces his free hand on Jayce’s chest, resting atop the flannel overshirt he tossed on. It's still somewhat rare for Viktor to initiate contact between them, though he’s long since grown comfortable with returning it.
“Ridiculous, ridiculous man,” Viktor says. And then he leans down, pressing a kiss to the apple of Jayce’s cheek.
Really, Jayce doesn’t know how many times he’s asked himself this, but he has to ask himself again: how did he get so lucky?

They brought their cure to the Gray to the people of Zaun, distributing it for free, cost be damned, and making sure it was always readily available in all clinics and hospitals. Jayce and Cassandra constantly collaborated on ways to better her ventilation system to clean out the air pollution, and Viktor had personally designed filters for the water systems to clean up Zaun’s water supply. Viktor was in remission. And yet, Viktor’s lungs would always be scarred.
And yet, every few months, Jayce would catch Viktor smoking.
