As if to emphasise his point, he smacked his hand against the painting. Wei Wuxian gets the surprise of his life. The product of this kicks off a few things: namely, Jiang Yanli finally getting sick of her parents, Jiang Cheng Getting A Grip, and Lan Wangji fistfighting his uncle in a Denny's parking lot.
That last one might have been exaggerated.
