Summary
~Post OotP, ignoring HBP and DH.~ Harry is finished with being the light's whipping boy, the tragic boy hero that the world pinned it's hopes on. He allows himself to be taken to another realm, only to emerge after ten years in the moment he left...with a whole new plan for himself. Maturity brings about understanding, and Harry understands just fine. This time, he'll choose his side in the war. The light will never know what hit it.

Summary
This is a self-indulgent passion project. There are liberal amounts of headcanons regarding Arlene and Zahard’s characterizations and their shared backstory. All in all, this was born from a sudden burst of inspiration—so expect some out-of-character moments and plot holes. If anyone asks, this has zero ties to the canon versions of the characters; let’s just say it’s purely because the author’s skills are lacking.
I really couldn’t come up with a proper title, so this will have to do. (。・ˇ_ˇ・。:)
If you’re okay with all of the above, keep scrolling—and enjoy the read! (◦˙▽˙◦)

Summary
If you were to ask someone: “Could the acting Grand Sage, Alhaitham, be depressed?” all you would get as an answer is a huff.
“That guy? Depressed? Since when can an ice cube be depressed? He doesn’t have any feelings. How would that even work?”
Alhaitham has maintained the image of a cold and rational being so carefully that it was almost impossible to look behind the mask and see the truth. Only he knew that he was barely holding on.___
"You can't survive on books alone", Kaveh always told him. Alhaitham finally understands the meaning of these words, but it is already too late. His loneliness has carved his insides out and left him hollow. The severity of his depression goes unnoticed by everyone, including the scribe until it is too late to recover. Kaveh will be proven right once more. Alhaitham won't survive this.
