    The brackish water swayed around the sides of the swamp boat, the large back fan blotting out the sound of the breaking waves. The two sat in silence scanning for land before landing along the coast of a village. At landfall, Sheva and Chris were met with not the empty silence they both expected before the telltale storm of the infected. If anything, it was more lively, full of an unsettling span of life: drums, crowds, jingles, and a strange sense of cheer permeating the air. A stranger sense of unease came to Chris: not of danger, but of the rare feeling of normalcy in an abnormal world. He had point and slowly walked, hand hovering near his sidearm. The noises grew louder and louder, and then he felt the soft hand of Sheva faintly touch his arm. The visible relaxing of her shoulders had him slowly release the tension in his.

    This is where hard decisions and painful truths that change everything known up to this point occur. Do not expect the fairy tale ending to stay completely pretty.

    A lot of elements will be introduced from an ongoing outside rp involving Zeus and has Ghandon's Reports - a series of files stored by the late researcher - referenced in tandem with this arc. The last remaining brother to Nemesis, Zeus is a creature of not sound mind nor understanding of the value of life. He is 'free' from his 'Father' Simon Ghandon, but is ensnared by a deeper want - to find his brother and to clean him of his failings including his weak female and child.

    This arc digs deeper into 'what is' about Nemesis both physically, psychologically, and emotionally. It will explore darker themes and topics: it will basically not shy away from nor sugarcoat the violent or suggestive situations within.

Blood had in doing so dotted her face, his given libation anointing her for this circle now ready to welcome those beyond the veil.

    A 'fluff dump' fic where all those pesky things like flirting, normal affections (well as normal as a broken soldier and a lab-made Frankenstein'd war machine with a mile-long mean streak can be >.>), kids being kids, roughhousing, uh not keeping it in the bedroom stuff, communing with nature, murdering trespassers with extreme prejudice, and roasting marshmallows under the stars get to happen in these whatever drabbles.
