I wish we were both normal so that we could've gotten along better like normal siblings do. So I wouldn't be here on this busy London street thinking I am sorry for all that I did to you. So I wouldn't have to say just kidding out of habit and act like just an overzealous obsessed masochistic freakshow. I'm glad you can't hear this.

(Or: Doof and Perry have a conversation hours before dawn, about love and choices and being yourself. It's mostly just me projecting for a couple hundreds words, but I hope you find some comfort in it too.)

Perry the Platypus has an unfortunate habit of breaking into Heinz's apartment instead of asking first. Usually, that goes just fine. But today is not his lucky day. (Except it is. It absolutely is.)
(Or: Perry's a wee bit afraid of asking if he can come over, so he breaks in instead. Perfectly reasonable. It just so happens that he stumbles upon Heinz in a dress. The two then have a conversation about it.)
This can be read as either romantic or platonic Perryshmirtz but it leans more towards the romantic. If you'd rather keep it platonic, I'd recommend squinting while you read and just skipping the last few end-stopped blurbs at the end, because that's really where it progresses. (None of them are integral to the fic, they're just for fun.) Nothing explicit happens, but I've learned that people like warnings.

If Carlos had never wished to go any further, Cecil could have spent a happy lifetime within the confines of such kisses. He would have been content to concentrate the vast, unspeakable fathoms of his love and desire into the precise pinpoint of lip touching lip. He would have allowed the brush of fingertips against the nape of a neck to sing whole operettas of devotion.
It is apparent, however, that such restraint will not be required of him. It would be disingenuous to say that he is disappointed by this turn of events."
Cecil is extremely body-shy. Carlos is gentle, kind, and surprisingly dirty-minded.
