Night clung to the treetops like a shroud as the world burned below them.
Hiccup ran.
His boots hammered against the packed dirt, each stride kicking up ash that clung to his legs and smeared across the hardened leather of his armor. The ground trembled under his feet, whether from the heat or his speed, it was impossible to tell. Firelight painted the angles of his face in sharp oranges and violent reds, but nothing softened him. Every line, every muscle, every breath spoke of someone carved by survival.

This story is about this group of teens who get sucked into a super cursed, fleshy version of an old Pac-Man game. Now they’re stuck in this gross arcade maze where everything’s alive and glitchy, and they have to survive for 5 days or something really bad happens. At least they think that's what will happen... The shop’s weird, one of them is getting sicker, and the game definitely doesn’t want them to win. It’s part horror, part mystery, part ‘I JUST WANT A REASON TO DRAW SHEET GHOST KIDS’ and everyone’s kinda losing it. (including the writer)
