The knot in his chest has loosened, and though he hasn’t forgotten why he was upset in the first place, he does feel much calmer, sitting at Elliot’s feet, jaw cupped in his palms. He reaches up just barely, settling his hands on Elliot’s calves; the breath that leaves his lungs is nothing but relief, the contact scorching, but this is what he needed.
