Growing up with no one but each other to rely on, Aurelian and Louis Teller slowly but surely find their place in society, and bound with friends ready to stand by their side when Aurelian finally moves on with his plan to bring down Britain's class system.

The nickname means no national crisis is at their throats, and for the next twenty-four hours, no matter what Mycroft needs to do, he can relax and be Al.
Albert’s eyes are the hue of new spring growth, alluring and tender all at once. Mycroft contemplates the emerald vibrancy and loathes himself. He is about to take that brilliant light away.
“Come, our train is this way.”

Mycroft takes Albert to his ancestral home for a proper goodbye. Albert spends his last day as ‘Al’. A secret buried under the roses outside Mycroft’s bedroom.
