A possibility crosses Childe's mind, and his expression changes thoughtfully. “Say, what if we made a deal? This is the Land of Contracts, after all, it should surely be appropriate.”
He can tell he’s piqued Zhongli’s interest, as the man’s head tilts and masked amber eyes narrow in on Childe’s face. “Oh? I have to admit, Master Childe, I am not particularly looking for new business ventures at the moment."
Childe waves a gloved hand dismissively. “No, no, not of that nature. I mean for the Hunt.”
Zhongli appears even more intrigued. “I’m listening.”
With a devious grin, Childe leans toward Zhongli and speaks lowly, though there’s no indication anyone is listening in on their conversation. “What if we partnered up for the Hunt? You’re not looking for a match, I’m not looking for a match, it’s a win-win opportunity.”

However, what he’s noticed recently is that something is definitely wrong with the vampires and it’s definitely getting worse. In particular, with each meeting with Owen, the vampire seems to be losing more and more of himself to baser instincts. Can Legundo figure out what’s wrong or will things continue to devolve?

The vampires seem to be losing it, in particular those with white hair, and Legundo seems to be the only one noticing or with any gall to try and do something about it.

When reaching level three vampirism, vampires must trade their intelligence and ‘humanity’ for power, their minds cease to hold the value of control over their bloodlust and their every waking thought becomes more of that of the predators they are intended to be rather than the person they used to be.

Mobei-Jun does not speak human. He does not speak human even a little bit, as Shang Qinghua has tested by saying absolutely unholy filthy things to him that should have gotten him instantly murdered, but instead only earns him a blank, annoyed stare.
“My king, please, it’s only water. It’s unpoisoned, see? See, I’ll drink some. Ahh, tasty, safe water! Please, drink it? You’re sweating so much, you’re, like, melting.” He helps Mobei-Jun drink the water. “... God I really want to lick the sweat off your neck.”
Mobei-Jun does not react. Ahaha, this is kind of fun. Except for all the ways that it’s so fucking inconvenient.
