Morgan really hated their life. Honestly, whoever said 'God only gives you things you can handle' had never met them. If they had they'd be lying bloody and beaten on the floor. Regardless of the fact that they absolutely hate killing and also, kinda the sight of blood. But really, I mean come on. First, it was being born to a family of overachieving, high-powered heroes, with a once-a-month power. Then, they were forced to train by their parents (to be their younger brother's sidekick, no less.) Every day until they passed out, unconscious, blood dripping from both their nose and their ears. And of course, they can't forget figuring out that they were non-binary. Even though everyone they know, aside from Alex, still refers to them with he/him pronouns to this day. This was even ignoring all of the physical and emotional abuse they'd taken throughout their years of school from inconsequential bystanders. But no, that wasn't enough for God apparently, they had to add the icing on the cake, the cherry on top. Falling head over heels in love with the solitary S-tier villain, in the entirety of the continent, their best friend Alex, who didn't have a soul mark, *continued in notes.*

Tim closes his eyes, calculating. Based on the energy involved for a one week reset, he’s looking at a minimum displacement of about five years for the copy. His eyes sting as he fully grasps that if this works, one Tim will get to reunite with his friends and family, hold them and speak to them again, and work together to unleash all the contingencies and strategies he’s come up with to kick those invading alien assholes the fuck out, and the other Tim, the copy… won’t. He’ll wake up somewhen, isolated and traumatized, without friends, family, or any allies at all.
Well, shit. Whatever, at least Other Tim will know it worked. And he’s never minded the idea of sacrificing himself to save others. He confirms the calibration of the device, and pushes the big red button. Of fucking course there’s a big red button, supervillains are so predictable.
His last thought as the lights explode in his head and he tastes color is I hope computers are a thing whenever Other Tim lands. I’d hate to be put on trial for witchcraft. Fuck it, if I overshoot I’m gonna ride a goddamn dinosaur. Hell. Yes.
