    Summary

Five things you learn living with Kim Kitsuragi, and one thing he learns living with you.

KIM KITSURAGI: He closes his eyes briefly, takes a breath, and opens them. He looks directly at you and says, “You can stay at my apartment.”

AUTHORITY: It’s not an offer. There’s no, if you want. It’s a command.

YOU: Your eyes water even further.

JEAN VICQUEMARE: He barks out a laugh. “Fuck,” he says. “Lieutenant, with all due respect…”

AUTHORITY: He trails off when Kim turns to look at him.

ENDURANCE: I don’t think you know what you’re getting into, Jean concludes in his head.

    Summary

Killing a merchant left the Dark Urge with his victim’s goods: a cart full of pretty, juicy pears. Curiously, he decided he wanted to roll said cart all the way back to Wyrm’s Rock Fortress, deviating from his schedule to give Gortash a bunch of pears as a simple gift.

Somehow, it led them to making pear jam in Gortash’s chamber.

    Summary

    "What," Lae'zel says, "is that."

Her voice sounds severe—but then again, her voice always sounds severe, and at least there's no accompanying sound of a greatsword being drawn. Shadowheart lets her hand drop from the handle of her glaive and turns around.

"What's what?" She glances up and down the street, but there's nothing out of the ordinary to be seen: just another street in the Lower City, thrumming quietly with everyday activity. There's a pair of kids whacking each other with sticks—a steel-gray dragonborn hawking potions and dyes—a noblewoman with a stupid little purse dog, the two of them turning up their noses at a selection of vegetables—a drow wobbling on his feet, supported by friends who seem nearly as unsteady as he is—

"That." Weeks of journeying together mean that Lae'zel doesn't outright point at people anymore, but the tilt of her head is just as obvious. "That—creature."

OR: Team Tadpole plays a game. Lae'zel confronts the complexities of taxonomy.

In which the BG3 gang play a game of asking Lae'zel if this or that animal is a dog. Very very funny, and ends sweetly, with a hint of Lae'zel/Shadowheart I appreciate very much
