    The next few weeks continued like that - each day during Luke’s lunch he would check on his gym just to find it had been taken over by the same father/son Instinct duo. He took it back each time, would monitor as he got ready to go into the office or until more Mystic trainers joined him, and then would continue on with his day. Rinse and repeat. Luke certainly didn’t mind the challenge, in fact he looked forward to seeing which Pokémon the other two would leave behind (gogurt had a penchant for Pokémon that looked like frogs, and gogurt’sdad left a range of high defense Pokémon, usually steel-type), but there was a part of him that was curious. 

    Which prompted Luke to take a day off and sit in his car in the park parking lot, facing the Seeing Stone statue the gym was linked to, and waiting for a man and child who looked like they could be Team Instinct to wander by and stare down at their phones for a bit.

    Summary

    What if the Wayne's from Tim's world took Jason's death a little harder? What if they were too hardened by their grief to let him in and set him strictly as an employee, not their family?

    Tim Drake knows he's not part of the batfamily and any fleeting hope of that was crushed when Jason Todd, Tim's Robin, returned from the dead and reenforced what the Waynes had been telling him all these years. They might have warmed up to the boy, but he was not and would never be a part of the Wayne family.

    All this to say, when it's Tim's birthday, he goes out on a drug bust to catch a new player in Gotham. Alone. Which ultimately leads to said new player killing the freshly 15 year old. Tim did not expect to wake up. Especially not floating in the bedroom of 10 year old Jason Todd.

    Well, death didn't seem to be sticking anymore. Tim's in for a wild ride.

    Idk how i havent bookmarked this before but it has the amazing duality of so many of the characters. We have nice and sweet bruce and dick, and then we have cold and prideful bruce and dick. Throw in some ✨ shenanigans ✨ and found family brotherly love and feels and blend it up and you get a delicious batfamily smoothie. Also plenty of cameos and detective work to scratch the itches in the folds of your brain.
    Lots of food talk maybe cause im on my lunch, but chef’s kiss 🧑‍🍳
