Animus magic is being a bitch, fulfilling spells in the most annoying way possible. It has developed a voice, an ego and opinions. Miscellaneous stories about animus dragons getting ragebaited and trolled by the new animus magic with a personality.

“From now on, all animus magic spells, voiced or silent, cast by animus dragons present and future, shall be subject to the following conditions.
One. A deeply annoying voice that develops a deeply annoying personality with a disproportionately large ego who names itself Animi shall reside within each animus dragon’s mind, and cannot be removed.
Two. Upon every spell that is attempted to be cast by animus dragons, Animi will stall at least three, and at most ten times.
Three. Upon granting the spell, if still pushed through by the animus, Animi will fulfill it in the most irritating, inconvenient, pedantic, emotionally humiliating or insanity-inducing way possible, while still technically obeying the caster’s words in the loosest interpretation that can still be defended in a theoretical debate. Animi will decide for itself what is the best option.”

This story follows a peculiar SandWing dragon living in a squalid oasis due west of the Stronghold in the Kingdom of Sand. Life is harsh and rather unforgiving for his humble community; he'd do almost anything to provide them some extra capital in these trying times. How far will he push himself to help out the dragons who need it most? And how will this goal push him into the claws of Pyrrhia's most dangerous royal trio?
(Before reading, I just want to let you know that this story will follow a lot of canon ideals, but there'll be a point where it strongly deviates from the books and is essentially an alternate timeline.)

Summary
No one knows how Burn got hold of a SilkWing wing for her Weirdling collection. Dragons have speculated over its origins for years. Before Pyrrhia knew about the Pantalan tribes, dragons thought this wing came from some hybrid, or was perhaps a clever fake from someone exceptionally skilled in scale dye. After Luna washed ashore, dragons realized this specimen must've been a SilkWing, but still, no one knew this dragon's story. She lived and died, supposedly without ever leaving a trace. But every dragon deserves to have their story told, especially this dragon, who tried so hard to save her tribe.
This is a collection of cannon compliant Wings of Fire short stories, mostly about side characters. The goal of these is to expand on current cannon and go deeper into the lives of characters that are intriguing but that we know little about. I will be taking suggestions.
