Summary
Stede returns to the Revenge, but Edward hasn't fully forgiven him yet. At a market, he comes across a book called “The 36 Questions To Fall in Love” with a series of questions that, if asked to one another, will make a pair fall in love. He desperately wants Edward to forgive him for leaving and fall back in love with him, so he gives it a try.
“How’s sleeping on the deck?” Edward had asked, taking a bite of the potato stew Roach had prepared. “Bet you’re not used to it.”
Stede nodded; he had always slept on the sturdiest beds, under the finest silks and scented linens. The cold, wet deck under a dirty, malodorous blanket no one really knew the origins of was something that took getting used to. But for him, for the opportunity to be near Edward, he would’ve slept in a fishing net suspended over a shark-infested ocean.

“Stop calling me that.” Ed goes down another ladder, finding himself in a large space with cargo stacked to the ceiling. Fucking finally.
“Why? It’s your name.” The guy has followed Ed all the way down here.
Ed sighs as he sets down the bale. “Yeah, but you don’t have to use all of it. Just call me Ed.”
“All right, Ed.”
Ed waits, but he doesn’t say anything more. “Aren’t you gonna tell me your name?”
“Ooo, interested in me, are you?” He waggles his eyebrows.
Ed rolls his eyes. “Do you really not know how society works?”
“Oh, I do.” The guy grabs a beam above his head, swinging his body toward Ed. “I just don’t much like playing by its rules.”
A story of Edward Teach and Jack Rackham, the two youngest pirates in Captain Hornigold's crew. Friendship, fucking, and fighting. Maybe some fuckery.

Summary
When Ed gets stuck behind the same slow driver for a long stretch of his road trip through the Pacific Northwest, that's one thing. When he finds himself at the same rest stop as the offending driver, it's quite another.
This Stede guy is a bit of a lunatic. But when Ed crosses paths with him again several days later, this time stranded on the side of the highway and in need of some assistance, Ed winds up on a slightly different road trip than the one he'd planned to take—with a man he absolutely doesn't plan to fall in love with.
Clearly, plans change.

Summary
The Revenge is low on supplies. Stede’s genuinely very hungry for the first time in his entire life, and he has no clue how to deal with that. When Ed puts food in front of him, he gets carried away.
Only… seeing as his resilience in the face of hunger… falls short of the mark presented by everyone else… his fear of being soft and inadequate rears its head.
Ed, meanwhile, is entirely taken with the fact that he’s completely and utterly in love with Stede Bonnet, and that Stede Bonnet is unbelievably sexy when he eats like there’s no tomorrow.
