The tips of your ears have rounded, and you feel your canines tearing into your lower lip. Blood drips onto your tongue. It’s bitter and metallic and breaks you, briefly enough, out of your fury. You inhale through your nose harshly, grinding your teeth as you seek control over your form. You crack your neck and roll your shoulders, closing your eyes and leaning your head to the sky as your grip loosens once more. You think a small prayer to Sylvanus, to your moon, as you know it will not help anyone to destroy yourself, Gale, and your tent in the process of wild shaping.
