Day one of exile, day two, three, forty-seven, sixty-four. It continued on and on, until it finally stopped. Tommy didn't know why he wrote these notes, but something in his had brain nagged him about it until he finally conceded, and it had become a habit almost instantly. Maybe, someday, someone would pick them up and read them, and truly learn who he was. A coward.

Chuuya watched as all of his subordinates fled the area. There was no one to stop him this time. Chuuya only hoped that someone would finish him off before he did any major damage.
Once Chuuya could no longer see them in the distance, he turned back to face the enemy, who had stopped their gunfire temporarily, staring at Chuuya warily. He sighed, taking his gloves off and throwing them onto the ground.

Till blinked in and out of consciousness as Urak tightened their grip on his neck, a furious expression clear on their (face?). He clawed desperately at the arm restraining him, but it made no difference, and Urak held him there, dangling a few feet in the air, slowly suffocating and feeling overwhelmingly helpless.
Just as his consciousness finally began to wane, Urak scoffed and threw him to the ground violently, causing him to land awkwardly on his arm and tumble further away.

Being the hero who saved Hyrule from a bloody war was a thankless job that left Warriors with more regrets than he cared to remember. He only started to heal after meeting his fellow heroes from across time and joining them on their quest to defeat the black-blooded monsters.
But when his time-hopping journey takes him back home, he finds his kingdom on the brink of war once more. This war threatens to ensnare not only Warriors, but his newfound family as well.
Warriors will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, even if that means becoming a traitor to the kingdom he gave up everything to save. But the harder Warriors works to protect his family, the more the secrets of his dark past come to life. Who is Captain Link Walton, the Hero of Warriors? What happened to the two other heroes he had once fought alongside all those years ago?
When this is over, will Warriors even have a family left to save or is he doomed to repeat his past mistakes?
(Once, there were three brothers: the captain, the engineer, and the child. Their story did not have a happy ending.)

Genuinely one of, if not THE best loz fanfic I've ever read, I spent an entire nonstop day reading this and all of the next morning and not once did I get bored or tired of it.
Holy shit I'm so glad this fanfic is so long and also that it hasn't been abandoned, which is what I feared would happen bc almost all my favorites are abandoned and unfinished 😭

Summary
The traveler and the veteran were in a different Hyrule now, in the middle of a vast field. They could see a town in the distance so they started heading in that direction.
Link wanted to get away from Hyrule. There were no hard feelings towards the kingdom, but he had gone through so much to save it, only for his efforts to be forgotten. All he wanted was to just return home to the forest, but without Navi that wasn't possible.
