Summary
These lines kept piling up in my brain when I was in the shower. Cue my mad scramble to write everything down afterwards with hair dripping water on my phone screen.
Also, I'm terrified of this new age of AI. I hope that comes across well enough though this piece of writing, it's very important to me. They're not artists, they're manufactured mockingbirds.

Summary
Teen And Up Audiences for mention of animal death (at the hands of another animal). Not rated with Graphic Depictions of Violence because I don't believe I go into enough detail for that.
This is about my tuxedo cat, Sushi. We've been told she was a stray before her first owners, and we've been her second family for a couple years now, but she still hasn't wanted to get any closer than occasional pets and obviously, food.
She doesn't stay in the house often, but recently I've realised she does appreciate us, and I haven't realised how important this is to her. I don't want to fret over her actions when there's natural meaning behind it. I can be thankful that she cares, and also feel upset for the animal she's hunted. I hope we haven't scared her off of (getting, making?) her gifts to us, as raw as they are.

Summary
A poem about apple juice. Written sometime... during term 2 in the school year. Picked back up to drop into here... tonight. It's late when I'm posting this, so hopefully I'll remember to add a chapter two (edited/final version) sometime soon. [Edit: I don't remember-remembering to do this].
I have tried writing poetry in the past, but I can never understand the rules for the different types and I don't think this follows any specific kind of poetry? So that's why I've used the Bad Poetry tag). Also, I never tried posting previous poem-y works anywhere, and couldn't find them if I tried.

He takes Bruce’s hand in both of his, looks deep into his eyes, and croons the chorus of Call Me Maybe like it’s the most romantic love song ever written.The Avengers play Truth or Dare on a yacht. Bruce is trying to relax a little in the company of his new friends, but Thor is making him want to loosen up a little too much.

And God, he missed S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N, so so much. Something had broken in him when he’d found his AI chip in the rubble, unsalvageable. Something about the grief of it all had made everything feel worthless. Even if he yearned for it—that didn’t really matter anymore, did it? It was gone.)
