Rumi considered it—she normally gave in quickly—but the way she’d looked at her before she kissed her neck, and the way she’d reacted to Rumi threatening to leave and finish herself off, was echoing around her brain. She was forming a theory, and she needed to test it.
She hooked a finger under Mira’s choker, pressing her knuckle gently against her throat, and tugged. She felt more than heard the way it made Mira’s breath hitch. She did it again, and this time Mira’s nails dug in deeper involuntarily.
Which was a very interesting reaction.
While Zoey's away Mira learns something new about Rumi.

Like something she can just try on for size and then put back on the rack if she doesn’t like it or it doesn’t fit right? She wonders if Lottie will tell her to fuck off, or grow up, or—
“I could do it.”
Nat blinks. “What?”
“If you want to try a girl,” Lottie says. “If you would rather try with someone you know rather than a total stranger, I’ll do it.”
