Summary
Inspired by Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, this story depicts a non-binary, polyamorous, and bisexual Kara Danvers "passing" as a straight man so she can be a doctor and love freely in the sexist, close-minded 1930s and 1940s.
Specifically, Kara becomes "Kal" to freely teach, practice, and research radiology at National City University. At the same time, she does her best to keep her budding love for two forbidden women -- coworker Alex and student Lena -- a secret.
However, keeping the three's amazing yet forbidden personal life a secret gets difficult, especially as their invention (the ultrasound machine) and feminist comic strip (Invisible Woman) become world famous.
Follow the loving trio's journey to see how they negotiate their polyamory, become parents, fight for what's theirs, and work to create a world which helps all women feel seen.
