Summary
The beach was alive - not loud, but full. Laughter, the sound of volleyballs slapping against forearms, sandals kicked of in the sand. The sky was already pink at the ege, casting a comforting glow into the sea.
Hyunjin sat near the dunes with a small pad balanced on his knees, sketching silhouettes and letting the wind mess his hair up. He didn't really feel like talking with Yeji's friends.
That's when he noticed him - blond hair almost flying in the breeze, sunlight catching is earrings, skin glowing from the thin layer of sweat. He moved like the world belonged to him.
Hyunjin didn't even realize he'd stopped sketching until he blinked and saw his pen hovering above the page.
Someone yelled, the volleyball flew fast, and the boy ran after it, laughing. Hyunjin quickly looked down, scribbling something that didn't matter. He told himself it was nothing.
Just a moment. Just a boy at the beach.
