Summary
The Leshy had been the final fucking straw.
For decades, Eskel had found himself increasingly sick of walking the Path and living the life of monsters and money.
He had spent most of his life being hated for something he had no choice in: becoming a mutant.
It was thankless work, people didn’t want to pay even when he’d bested their monster, and everyone was afraid of him.
But winter came yet again as Eskel made his way up to Kaer Morhen, badly injured by a fucking Leshy, of all things,
And by the time Eskel was deemed free of the Leshy and able to rest, everyone else in the Keep was wrapped around the fingers of Geralt’s daughter, Ciri.
So when the pass was clear enough for travel in the spring, Eskel had made up his mind: he was done with doing what was expected of him.
Eskel wanted to retire.
In years bygone, Eskel had spent some time in Oxenfurt, sitting in on whatever classes at the University that allowed mutants, and he’d thoroughly enjoyed that pursuit of knowledge, though he could never afford the tuition to attend as a student.

Story Summary:
Now that Merlin and Arthur have dealt with Arthur’s return from the dead, and with their mutual love for one another, and also with that mild inconvenience of having to save the Northern Hemisphere from an ancient magical foe, they're finally able to live their lives like any two normal people in love.All they want is to forget the past, to have a long indulgent holiday road-tripping around the world seeing the sights together as a newly engaged couple, and to get married in Avalon the coming summer on the Solstice.
Surely, that’s not too much to ask. I mean, things always went totally to plan for them before, right?
Story contains: Banter, humor, misadventure, old friends and new friends, canon-level peril, fluff and feels, a happily ever after at the end, and love. Lots and lots of love.

Now with Antonio's gift ceremony looming and Casita starting to crack, Mirabel knows she can't stay hidden away in Casita and decides to do something about it.
If Bruno couldn't avenge her, the least she could do is avenge him.

There was just one problem... Tio Bruno has been missing for the last fifteen years. Stolen by the shadow creatures... most likely killed.
One day Mirabel gets an idea. A terrible idea really. She can prove her worth by going to the forest herself and kill the creature that took her uncle all those years ago. However, the creature that Mirabel finds is not... Quite what she expected.
He looks terrifying yes. Like a monstrous human rat with green glowing eyes towering over Mirabel. But he's kind... He's sort of awkward. And is protecting the town with all of his might.Something here clearly isn't adding up.

Why is he always asleep, injured, or panicking?This is a prequel to Thundersnow, in which we get to explore Flash’s early career and his dynamic with Captain Cold in particular. Love these babies.
