Summary
Harry can't say he was exactly thrilled about being thrust into a new world and leaving everything behind, but slowly, sometimes quite so, he carves out his place and makes a new life for himself. That said life somehow includes his long-lost godfather, a team of superheroes, a Norse god for a best friend, and a magical shop that caters to Muggles was not what he was expecting. That he ends up falling in love and getting a new family out of it was even less expected.
He thinks it all might end up being worth it.

In which Auror!Harry sacrifices himself to save Partner!Draco and the world from Fiendfyre, but rather than allowing himself to be consumed by the flames he throws himself through the Veil.
Once there he finds himself in an *almost* magicless world, filled with superheroes and stories of a boy wizard named Harry Potter. Tracking the stories down to their source he finds his godfather, Sirius Black, who likewise survived his fall through the Veil and has been making the best of it as a successful author (...of Harry's life story), happy husband to Maria Hill, and magical consultant to the Avengers.
Soon, Harry too is making the best of life in this strange new world, with his successful magic shop, best friend Loki, adopted kids Morgan and Peter Parker... oh, and his husband-to-be, Tony Stark.
Too bad about the end of the world (apologies, annihilation of 50% of the universe's population) that is rapidly approaching.

In which Harry Potter dies a death of treachery and is reborn Elyanna Baratheon, the first live-born child of King Robert and Queen Cersei.
Life as Elyanna has its fair share of mysteries and treachery (because of course his life could never be simple), but it also has something worth putting up with poison, politics and the poor sewage of King's Landing - because Elyanna is not just a princess, she is a daughter, a protector, and most importantly of all, a big sister.
Compared to sacrificing his life for a world he'd known for a scant seven years and a prophecy that condemned his parents, bearing the weight of Westeros on her shoulders to live the life she chooses and protect the (somewhat dysfunctional) family she loves... well, they say dying is easy, it's living that's hard - too bad for the carefully laid plans that shackle Westeros, Elyanna is beginning to realise that living is worth it.
Features: sibling (and family) feels, complex characters, worldbuilding, magic, intrigue, and a Joffrey who would burn the world for his sister... if only that same sister hadn't showed him just what that world (and every annoying, pusillanimous imbecile in it) was worth.
WIP - current spot chpt 32: Elyanna/Harry attempts to repurpose a continental curse without her brain scrambling on the walls of Bloodstone like eggs in a continental breakfast.

In which an overwhelmingly powerful Harry sacrifices some of his magic for a slice of peace in another dimension after the war. Surrounded by an extended family of Potters, Harry has the family he always dreamed of.
Six months later, Tom Gaunt arrives searching for a Potter prophesied to help him in his fight against the duplicitous Minister Dumbledore. He thinks he will be getting a weapon to win a war, instead he gets Harry - a love he'd never dreamed possible.
Of course, first there's the matter of convincing Harry he's not the same as his world's Tom Riddle and convincing him his feelings are genuine... oh, and dealing with a couple of problem in-laws and a pesky Minister who has followed him to this peaceful (and Potter-ful) world.

An army stands ready to invade Earth with their General come to open the way but Harriet is a woman grown and a witch in her prime. With allies old and new at her side she will stand against any threat.
tl;dr It is May 2012 and Loki is coming to Earth for the Tesseract and to conquer but SHIELD and the Avengers wouldn’t be standing alone against this threat. Harriet, ‘John,’ and their allies will not sit back and allow their planet to be invaded unchallenged.
