Tony’s the one that took the suit from him and then moved to upstate New York and cut all contact with him. So it wasn’t Peter’s fault at all, right? He didn’t ask for that glowy Chitauri bomb to cut the ferry in half, proceeding to destroy his potential career and piss the shit out of Tony Stark.

Though the Third Hokage made it sound so easy, training a traumatized self-proclaimed avenger and the attention-starved son of his deceased sensei was a lot more difficult in practice. Kakashi never expected them to grow on him so much, though.

“Yeah, sensei, do we pass?” Sasuke dangled the bells from the tip of his finger, a smug grin on his face. He was a bastard, Kakashi decided.
Actually, all of them were. Little shit bastards. Feral goblins. Hellspawn. If it wasn’t Sakura literally changing the landscape of the field underneath Kakashi’s feet, it was Sasuke swinging a sword crackling with lightning, both of them subtly herding him towards Naruto’s hundred shadow-clones, all of which were so fast he could barely track them even with the sharingan.
Kakashi was starting to think his team definitely didn’t have the same problems as the others.

He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”

At the age of twelve, Naruto Uzumaki leaves Konoha, the night before graduation. Years later, the threat of the Akatsuki becomes all too real and keeping Naruto safe becomes Konoha’s topmost priority. A team of seven is sent after Naruto, to protect him no matter what.
The thing is: unaffiliated, jaded and thoroughly independent Naruto isn’t the type to appreciate a bunch of ninjas barging into his life one day, demanding that he let them protect him. He’s been fine on his own so far so why are they so adamant to stick by his side? And why is he being chased by a bunch of weirdos wearing freaky capes?
