“Yeah… uhm," Mike seemed to be stalling, "Why don’t you?”
Will frowned. “Why don’t I what?”
Another pause.
“Why don’t you settle down?”
“Because, Michael,” Will turned off the loudspeaker and brought the phone closer to himself again, “don’t know if you have noticed but- I have not, in fact, found a man.”
Mike let out a dry laugh. It had a hint of cruelty in it. But Will quickly brushed it off. Mike had let go of his teenage brutishness a long time ago. He was a father of a five-year-old now.
“You find plenty of men, Will. Rather… a plenty of men find you.”
Was there an accusation hidden there somewhere?
“Well, yeah… I guess?” Will fumbled around for the right words to form a suitable reply. “Thank you?”
Or,
It has been more than a decade. Will had assumed he would fall out of touch with Mike but he hadn't. Mike had changed and so had he. However, there are unfinished conversations yet to be had and wounds yet to be uncovered. Things come to a head at the Byers-Harrington Christmas party.

Summary
“Why would Crowley file a requisition to Heaven to be human?” Aziraphale snapped for real this time.
The Scrivener found themself momentarily frozen in fear. It took them a while to unlock their jaw.
“Well… Sir… It’s just…”
“ANSWER!”
“It’s just that… the Book of Life is in Heaven, isn’t it? And after the Metatron, the only one who can make changes to it is… well, you. And Her, of course, but She…” their voice died down on its own. It was obvious that the Supreme Archangel wasn’t listening.
“Crowley wants me to make him human?”
The Scrivener remained silent.
Aziraphale shook his head, seemingly unconscious of what he was doing.
“Crowley wants me to make him… mortal?”

At some point after Aziraphale leaves, Crowley meets a human who reminds him of someone that he had known for 6 millennia. Crowley tries to escape, terrified of another heartbreak. But eventually, he finds himself not wishing for eternity anymore. Not if eternity means going on without him.

“That’s not the issue!” Tang Fan screeched, his face an alarming shade of red.
“Then what’s the issue?” Dong’er frowned.
Tang Fan tried to reel himself back in. He heaved in a few breaths before leaning in to whisper: “He can. He just doesn’t want to. Now.”

Summary
The voice, Lip had to admit, had an extremely peculiar but familiar quality to it. It was a child of course. Couldn’t be older than 10. Probably a lot younger. Probably also very nervous at having accidentally made this connection. But the voice didn’t betray much of that nervousness at all. It was rather self-assured. Even if it was all pretense, it was a very well-developed façade of propriety and self-possession.
“And who might you be?” he ventured to ask as gently as possible.
“I… I can’t say.”
OR,
Lip, high as a kite, breaks into the old Gallagher house one night and discovers a phone ringing. A landline that he had forgotten they ever had. Somehow, the voice on the other end knows this old, obsolete number. The voice also seems to know who he is.

"“W-what happened?” Will asks, and sure enough, through his watery gaze Mike sees that same thing he’s heard in Will’s voice, or better, doesn’t see, because it’s an absence, an emptiness, even if Mike can’t quite pinpoint it. Something is still wrong.
“Oh honey, you went in a trance for a moment there, scared us to death. But you fought, you fought that vicious monster, and now you’re back,” Joyce explains, her voice soft.
Will frowns, the confusion in his gaze deepening. “What? What monster?” He asks, and Mike’s knees tremble. Something is very wrong.
“Vecna,” Mike replies before he can stop himself, and Will’s gaze finally turns to him.
And there’s nothing there. Will’s expression as he gazes at his best friend is… blank.
“Who are you?” Will asks, and the world comes crashing down on Mike."Will uses his powers to save his friends, and Vecna strikes back. When he wakes up, he doesn't remember anything about Vecna and the Upside Down, and he doesn't remember Mike. Mike is crushed, but he could never give up on Will. So he helps him get his memories back, and put an end to this evil once and for all.

Mike felt violent.
This was the biggest problem about Carlton. He was perfect.
He was nice, kind and had a soft voice that matched Will's.
If Carlton was an asshole who treated Will badly, his reason to hate him would be normal. But there he was, stuck with his “instinct” and looking insane. He knew he looked insane, he felt insane.
Mike started to empathize with Joyce.

“Language”, Steve said, clearly annoyed. “You should slow it, Wheeler. You’re already on beer three.”
“Can you stop being such a mom?”
“Well, sorry for being the only responsible adult in this room, but you guys are like sixteen. Also, where the hell is Murray?”
“Mooooooooooom”, Mike drawled, his head lolling back as he rolled his eyes very dramatically.
Robin had to bite back another snort when she saw the giant side eye Eleven was shooting her boyfriend. She clearly wasn’t a fan of this drunk version of Baby Wheeler.
Meanwhile Will only chuckled at Mike’s antics, throwing a wrapped piece of chocolate at him. “You should listen to him Mike, you’re already crosseyed.”

After Will saves everyone from the Demos he’s out for several days. Robin makes some discoveries about a certain Baby Wheeler and starts counting snowballs. Just as she’s about to go insane with the two boys’ obliviousness, everyone decides to get drunk and new possibilities arise.(look at tags)

Robin nodded.
“Okay. Then let’s do this instead. Lucas, you and I go to the hospital and get Max. We move her somewhere safe. The hospital is the most vulnerable place right now.”
Her voice dropped near the end. Will understood her worry and gently pulled Robin back against his shoulder.
“So… when did you two get this close?” Mike suddenly snapped.
Everyone turned to him in surprise.
“Jesus,” Robin muttered, glancing at Will.
Will looked straight at Mike.
“We already talked about this.”
Mike shook his head.
“Yeah, we talked—but this—” he gestured at the two of them, “I didn’t know you were this close.”
Joyce looked at her son and Robin. She knew there was something she didn’t understand yet—but this wasn’t the moment to ask.
“Mike,” Lucas said firmly.
Mike turned to him.
“We need to get to the hospital. This isn’t about Will and Robin being close.”
Mike took a deep breath.
“You’re right. I’m sorry.”
