Summary
When Theo comes back from hell, the reality of it becomes too much and he does the only thing he couldn't do in there: shift. Four months after the chimera escaped the jail cell the pack placed him in, he appears in Liam’s backyard… except he’s in wolf form and starving.
Liam decides that if Theo is his responsibility then he must help him figure out why the chimera can’t shift back to human. Maybe the puppy pack would take him more seriously if he stopped rambling about Theo for one fucking minute. Or if Theo stopped being a lap dog on main.

He glances at the clock, then back at Theo, before his mind is made up and he is shaking the chimera awake. Theo mumbles something unintelligible, his eyes fluttering open. He looks up at Liam, confusion and weariness clouding his gaze.
“C’mon,” Liam says, gently pushing a still half-asleep Theo upright. “We need to change before my parents get home.”
“Don’t have clothes here,” Theo mutters as he drags a hand over his face in an attempt to wake himself up some more.
“You can borrow mine.”
Liam half expects Theo to resist. He waits for Theo to shake his head and protest, refusing to give into any slight amount of kindness under the premise that he doesn’t deserve it, but that’s not what happens.

Liam doesn’t think he hit his head on the way down, but the details leading up to their current predicament are a little hazy. He knows four things for sure.
1.) Theo had refused to explain what he was doing here when Liam asked, and had gone so far as to laugh when Liam suggested he was reverting back to his stalker-ish ways.
2.) Liam may have thrown the initial punch in their impromptu fistfight, but it was Theo who tackled him to the floor after both their noses got bloodied up.
3.) Theo had also been the one to connect their mouths.
4.) Theo isn’t wearing a shirt. Or shoes.
