Summary
It was a bit of a quirk the both of them eventually noticed they shared with one another. Caleb, having his scarves and always tugging on them. Mollymauk, always wearing outerwear that was on a scale of gaudiness that everyone else around Molly was sub-par on the color wheel compared to what they wore often. Be it jackets, coats, shawls, anything of the like, it was always reflective of their vibrant personality.
Caleb and Molly go over the moon to try to do a sweet gesture that eventually goes out of hand.

The table erupts in mean little chuckles.
Viktor smiles amiably, then turns to another, younger, less drunk.
“Hold this.” He hands him his cane.
The kid stammers. “Uh.”
He loosens his collar, rolls one maroon sleeve, and, without hesitation or warning, buries his fist in the Mountain’s face.

It’s a young man, absolutely filthy, his face caked with blood and his clothes torn in places that turn Jayce’s stomach. He blinks back from the light that floods in, and before he can react any further Jayce is on his knees, reaching for the cable ties around his wrists, saying, “It’s okay, you’re safe now, I’ve got you-”
“Jayce?”
And Jayce, hand halfway to the pocket knife on his belt, freezes. Takes another look at the man. And whispers, “Viktor?”
Jayce is a crisis interventionist for the Piltover Police Department. One night, while defusing a hostage situation, he discovers one of the hostages is someone he knows.
