Orange and red and yellow and brown. The colors of fall- of the leaves whose lives were coming to an end- seemed to mock him as they framed the portrait of the heavens above. They looked the most beautiful in their twilight years- or twilight months, since they were only leaves. The quiet resignation that they had, living and dying at the whims of the sun and its proximity to the earth- the way that they looked the most beautiful at the most tragic point of their lives, the way that their beauty was as fleeting as the wind that snatched them up off of the twigs they lived on- it was awfully poetic to Asriel. It would’ve been awfully poetic to her.
A Dessriel fic that switches between post-canon and pre-canon storytelling, with the causes contextualizing the effects.

"Frost.
Nearby trees had toppled over as thick shells of ice encapsulated them, weighing them down, crushing the surrounding buildings. Wooden beams creaked from the dry and the cold, snapping and splintering into powdered snow and wooden shrapnel. The well had suffered a similar fate, and Sukuna could only imagine that the water below had turned solid. He saw more and more the closer he got. His eyes could scan so much, but even he kept finding himself surprised- the air grew so cold that his Reverse Cursed Technique activated automatically. Crops had withered into nothing, presumably having turned into solid ice before shattering. Crows had fallen from the sky, their black feathers painted white with frost- and humans lay dead on the ground, their skin as ghastly pale as the crows’ feathers. It was as if a wintery apocalypse had blown through the town- all right under Sukuna’s nose. It seemed to him that not a soul remained in this village.
Not a soul but one."

Summary
A collection of stories revolving around life in Home Town. In these stories, Dark Worlds exist, but are not a major focus- sorry Ralsei lovers, I feel bad about it too. These stories are, for lack of a better term, slice of life. Stakes are low, but emotions might be high from time to time. I don't THINK there will be a particular order to the series, but you can consider them all to take place on the same timeline, just in various points of time depending on what I feel like writing that day.

Summary
For Asriel, life couldn't be better. School was fun, which was a miracle to say, and he had the most perfect girlfriend in Dess. He was a great student and was well on his way on a bright future with her.
But just when he thought he'd live a long, happy life alongside her, Dess is diagnosed with the same terminal cancer that took her father's life years prior. Everyone is hurting beyond belief, most of all Asriel himself, since the love of his life now had very little time left, and not enough energy to spend it with him to the max.
Asriel is soon visited by a mysterious man, who is set on helping him on his journey of hurt. Little does Asriel know, this journey shall teach him a valuable lesson that he best learn if he knows what's good for everyone, including Dess, lest he faces the consequences.

Summary
Two smalltown detectives, Asgore Dreemurr and Rudolph Holiday are thrown into a web of lies, deceit, and potentially super natural shenanigans as they investigate a missing persons report in the small sleepy town of HomeTown USA. It becomes apparent not all is what it seems to be and everyone is a suspect.
