From his vantage point in the doorway, Hamilton watched him walk around and touch things reverently, still not fully convinced he wasn't having a bizarre nightmare. He regarded his old rival again, taking in his physical presence in bits and pieces; the same arrogantly confident bearing, inviting himself into a room without questioning whether or not he was allowed. He walked over to his desk and grabbed a safety pin while Burr's back was turned, muttering something admiring about city lights.
