Kenma's life is, to put it blunt, pretty fucking sad, and he likes to blame that on the fact that he cut off all contact with his childhood friend, Kuroo Tetsurou, after he got into a relationship with someone else because (big surprise) Kenma is bad at handling his feelings. And, as a cherry on top, now Kuroo is getting married and Kenma is invited to the wedding. He's not going. In fact he never plans on seeing Kuroo ever again.

"Kozume Kenma is a fairly popular youtuber and streamer, he goes by the username Kodzuken online but isn’t secretive about his real full name. He’s 26 but has been streaming for almost 7 years now. He began his channel on a whim, backed with encouragement from his at the time boyfriend.
He’s known for being a somewhat stoic content creator with almost no reaction to any games he plays (which is a large variety) and a dry sense of humor that tends to get anyone watching or talking to him laughing. People tended to recommend games for him to play, just to see if they could get any kind of scared or shocked reaction but very very rarely did it ever actually work. “Hi,” Kenma murmured.
Kuroo smiled, something soft and beautiful that stole all the air from the room. “Hi.”
Kenma brought his hands to Kuroo’s shirt. He let his eyes drop to follow the movement. He fiddled with the buttons there. Not trying to undo them, but more a nervous tick. Kuroo’s thumb snuck under his shirt and rubbed against his hipbone. It was distracting.
Eyes still averted, because it was safer that way, Kenma whispered, “Do you love me?”
To Kuroo’s credit, his thumb did not falter in its soothing gesture. His hands did not twitch and his breathing did not change. His voice was perfectly even, unreasonably calm, as he leaned forward and whispered in Kenma’s ear, “Yes.”
