In the 25th Hunger Games, to remind the Districts that they had brought the Games on themselves through their choice to rebel, each district was forced to choose its own tributes, rather than have them chosen by a public lottery. These tributes had to face not only the Capitol and, ultimately, the arena from which only one would emerge, but also the fact that their people, their friends and families, had chosen them specifically for the task.

Summary

Earth always specialized in cooking. Hell, he even got himself a medal for his talents! But to Earth, he thinks his cooking is bland, dull, and could use some flavor.

...Oh, right.
"Well... I have many names!" Sun said with pride, his glow brightening up again. "Just like how your name means Zeus, my name is Helios Ra Apollo Inti-"
Jupiter blinked.
And made a face.
The Sun paused. And chuckled. "...But I guess thats a bit of a mouthful for someone as small as you, huh?"
It had never felt right to call himself by those names anyway, considering how the little star couldn't even burn as bright as the other stars.
But then again... those others lost their minds. And Sun gained a planet.
After a bit of thinking... Sun sighed. And he lifted his precious planet back up to introduce himself again, his tone soft and eyes cloudy.
Jupiter smiled back.
Lighting up his surroundings more than any star ever could have done.
"...But you may call me... Sol."

Unlike the Sun, the first time the planets woke up, there was light.

Triton cringed thinking back to the moments after the battle- oh he had acted like a child. And he must have scared the rest of the moons too.
When had he ever acted like that with Neptune?
...
Well okay that was his own fault too but-
A hand touching his forehead made him snap out of it.
When Triton looked up, he met Neptune's tired but worried gaze- wasn't that a sight? Neptune? Showing worry? In front of his moons? He never showed any emotion other than happy or silly. But he looked so serious these days. So tired all the time. Always looking out for something.
They were all on edge. But it was still shocking how much one event could change a person.

After the battle against Planet X, Triton can't help but think back about his planet.
Specifically... the fact that he's always been comfortable around him, despite trying to think otherwise.

Summary
“I guess, Neptune's orbit shouldn't be too bad.” Saturn said, eyes nervously glancing at the far away orbit, anxiously cracking their fingers, an old habit.
Sun makes a pleased noise, and then there is a beat of silence. And Saturn knows it’s a pleased noise and not a thoughtful one from the small shine in their eyes, and the twitch of Sun’s noise. Sun tilts their head to their right, their head high as they hum for a second or two. It’s a familiar movement, the one where Sun is hesitant, but Saturn knows that hesitation will not last very long.
In another universe, they are interrupted. In another universe, there is a battle. In another universe, no one switches orbits, Saturn remains sane, Planet’s X and Uranus’ suggestions become just that; suggestions. In another universe, one slightly kinder than this one, fate gives mercy on those in the solar system, and there will be an objection to X’s loud demands.
(This is not that universe.)

Summary
Mars had two of the smallest known moons in the entire Solar System.
Mars knew his moons could handle themselves, they weren't stupid and they always had each other if things got too bad, but- he couldn't help his worry. Not only were they small, but the two were also reckless. They often seemed to forget to be careful, forget their size and all Mars had to do was look away for a second before something could go wrong-
He knew his moons weren't weak. He knew they weren't helpless or pitiful, he knew they could handle themselves-
But when your opponent is who knows how many times your size- well. They could only do so much.
Or
Mars is painfully aware of how small his moons are.
That knowledge brings him no favor during and after the game of asteroid dodgeball against Planet X- especially when he can't find his moons.
