Summary
Some part of Kiyoomi wondered why they took it so seriously. It was a silly game to get to know each other and become familiar, not a moment of pride in a career or validation of personal worth. It was a game. But so was volleyball, and he couldn’t imagine treating any game, even if it was just for fun, like it was anything less than life or death.
or: Kiyoomi gets dragged into a reverse talent show with the MSBY gang and regrets every single one of his life decisions.

"Great, we have a big ask of you. I know this is very last minute, but Aiko started having contractions early this morning, and we need someone to watch the kids. It should only be a couple days."
Kiyoomi was stunned. It took him a few seconds to get words out.
"But um, Aiko said you hired a nanny for when she went into labor. Also, she still has another month before her delivery."
"We did hire someone, but the baby might be here sooner than we thought. Aiko is at the hospital right now, and I need to get there as soon as possible. Hopefully, this is a false alarm, but we can't be sure until the doctor says something. I'm sorry this is so last minute. Aiko tried calling you earlier, but you never picked up."
OR
Atsumu and Kiyoomi are put in charge of Kiyoomi's nieces and nephew for a week. Unsure of how to handle it the two go through a week trying to avoid any major disasters. Surely they can handle three little kids? Right?

“Oh,” Kiyoomi says, like a broken record, and then, because Atsumu’s smiling, “you like me so much, it must be quite embarrassing for you.”
Atsumu laughs, full-bodied and shaking, and says, “Babe, I hope someone filmed ya mopin’, because this ain’t even a competition with those two beers in ya.”
Kiyoomi feels his shoulders slump as Atsumu laughs harder, and says, “Take me home.”
“Demandin’,” Atsumu quips, but he doesn’t let go of his hand as he drags him back into Osaka’s suffocatingly warm summer air.
